Denver's Holocaust Survivors Remembrance
Who were the families that relocated to Colorado after surviving the Holocaust and how did they rebuild their lives here?  Please help us identify the Survivors and share with us your recollections of them in their post-Holocaust lives.

Everyone in the community is encouraged to participate in this project: survivors, descendants, relatives, friends, and community members.

What was the family name of the Survivors you wish to be remembered? *
Examples: Karsh, Welner, Jacobs, Ruda, etc.
Tell Us The First Names of the Survivors and Their Children *
Please follow this style:  Sam (father), Esther (mother), Jacob (son), Jerry (son), Esther (daughter). Include as many names as you can remember.  If you do not remember any first names, just enter "none."
Where did the family live? *
If you remember specific addresses or street names, enter those.  Even general references are helpful, such as East Side, West Denver, North Denver, etc. If the family moved once or more - and you know more than one location - include all locations. If you do not remember any details, just enter "none."
Tell Us About The Family:  Holocaust History
Do you know the Holocaust history of one or more family members, such as which concentration camp(s) they were imprisoned at; where they were liberated; if they served in the Partisans; where they lived prior to the war; how many family members perished, etc?  Even a brief overview is helpful, although feel free to write at length.
Tell Us About The Family: Livelihood
What did the parents (one or both) do to earn a living? If they owned a business, tell us about it?  If they worked for others, tell us about their jobs? If one or both parents did not work, note that as well.

What Jewish or secular organizations were family members involved with? Did they attend one or more local synagogues? Did they hold leadership positions in any local organizations? Did they do volunteer work or regularly contribute to one or more charities?  
Tell Us About The Family: Children and Family
What has become of the Survivors, their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and other family? Do any of them still reside in Colorado?  If not, do you know where they relocated?  If the Survivors are no longer living, do you know when they died?
Legacy
What do you remember most about this family and what would you like future generations to know about it? Please share any thoughts or feelings you have that you wish to be preserved.
