Submitting this application is another step you will take toward your transition to Berkeley Technology Academy (BTech). 
Please fill out this application completely.

Orientation meetings will be  offered on the every Tuesday of each month from 11:00am - 11:30am

BTA Office is located at 2701 Martin Luther King Jr Way on the corner of Derby and MLK.

Transfers outside of BUSD
Student transferring from outside of BUSD need to start the process at the BUSD Admissions Office at 2020 Bonar first. Students must be first accepted into the district before they can transfer into BTech. Email BUSD Admissions at   admissions@berkeley.net.  Look at the enrollment process. https://www.berkeleyschools.net/admissions/enrollment/

Students new to the district must submit transcripts from their previous school(s), attendance records, and discipline records to this application.

Please contact the BHS casemanager or the Special Education program supervisor for Special Education for your student's grade level to set up a IEP meeting to discuss placement. Please include your current case manager. Please invite the BIS principal  to the IEP placement meeting as well.
