CHESS Project FLC Application

The CHESS Project faculty learning community (FLC) is a professional development program for full-time faculty from California Lutheran University. The program engages faculty in critical discussion and assessment of their current course syllabus to generate a curriculum (re)design that is culturally relevant, responsive to, and sustainable for all students, particularly those from historically marginalized backgrounds.

 Workshop Dates - 2023 Program
3-day workshop:  May 22-23-24, 2023
1-day workshop: August 11th, 2023
1-day workshop: Spring 2023 TBD

There is a $2,500 stipend available to faculty who complete the yearlong program (May 2023-Spring 2024).
