Altitude Data

Altitude data offers important information on your Tours. Unfortunately, determining this data correctly is harder than it may seem at first glance. Among those reasons are deviances of the GPS-signal itself, which add "virtual inclines" to your Tour and need to be filtered out. On the other hand, when it comes to defining what "correct" altitude data really is, expectations may vary. While mountaineers mainly need to know the distance between valley and summit, even smaller inclines in between may be of high importance for bikers.
