SPRING BIRD WALK I with Jim Hunter

Millstone Farm is proud to offer again a wonderful Spring Bird Walk at the farm, this year with an added birdhouse building workshop. Learn about local birds and their habitats and build a wren box for installation at the farm or on your own property. Please feel free to join us all morning for both activities or choose one or the other. Kids and families welcome! 

Jim Hunter, birding expert and teacher from Wilton High School, will be our guide. Jim has been part of the Millstone Farm family since  2006 and has lead these popular workshops for many years.  

Come get to know your farmers and our CSA community here at Millstone farm! 

Participants should arrive at 180 Millstone Road promptly at 8AM and assemble and park at the farm’s main house (and car pool if possible).  Please bring your binoculars/cameras and hiking shoes.  In case of inclement weather, please call (914) 274-7356  for cancellation notice. 

These walks will fill up quickly, so if you are interested, please sign up right away!   There is a limit of 20 people per walk. There is a suggested donation of 30 to cover the workshop and materials.
