You are being asked to participate in a research project that will investigate if Grit can moderate the relationship between High Glass Child Severity and low academic performance. This research project is being conducted by Isabella Diaz, a junior at Sacred Heart Academy (Hempstead, NY). This study, which is all you are agreeing to at this point, should take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. This study poses minimal risk to participants. However, if you experience discomfort in answering any of the questions, you are free to withdraw from the study at any time. Choosing to discontinue the study will not adversely affect your relationship with the researchers or with Sacred Heart Academy in any way. Your participation in this study will be a valuable contribution to the understanding of how Grit can moderate the relationship between High Glass Child severity and low academic performance. All information you provide will be kept in the strictest confidence, and your identity will not be connected to your results in any way.
