Illinois has one of the most inequitable school funding formulas in the nation, forcing many schools to cut programs, layoff teachers and use outdated resources.

The quality of students’ education should not depend on their ZIP code. We need education funding reform now to ensure all Illinois students are given the same opportunities.

While the Illinois Senate has passed education funding reform, the fight continues in the Illinois House. Join me in the fight for education equality by signing my petition below to encourage our state representatives  to join the Senate in supporting quality education for all.
