To support European publishers in preparing project proposals for the Creative Europe open call "Circulation of European Literary Works 2025", the Creative Europe Desk Serbia, in cooperation with CED Italy, CED Portugal, CED Tunisia, CED Lithuania, CED Georgia, CED Ireland, and CED Finland, is organizing an online event on December 18th at 11:00 AM CET.
The main goal of the event is to foster networking among publishers from the listed countries, enhance partnership opportunities, and improve the quality of project applications while promoting intercultural cooperation and exchange. The "Circulation of European Literary Works" is an annual call under the Creative Europe program, offering a budget of €5 million to support the translation and circulation of contemporary literature.
During the event, CE Desks will present key features of the open call, showcase two successful projects, and highlight two publishers and a selection of authors from each of the participating countries. The event primarily targets publishing houses of all sizes, translators, and authors, especially from the eight mentioned countries, but is also open to participants from all 40 countries involved in the Creative Europe program.
The event is expected to last approximately 150 minutes.
