POLICY INFORMATION 1. Students who are ill may be isolated and sent home. 2. Cancellation of enrolment must be in writing to administration. No refunds are given for change of mind. 3. GDANCE reserves the right to withdraw any student at any time.  4. Choreography remains the sole property of GDANCE Academy and may not be performed without consent. This includes choreography taught by GDANCE Academy employees and guest teachers. 5. Physical contact from the teaching staff is required for corrective purposes. It will be necessary by a member of the faculty to demonstrate exercises, try on costumes and administer first aid if required by using physical contact. 6. If parents are late for student collection, students must wait inside the academy premises for pick-up by a parent or guardian. Supervision is not provided. 7. Parents of children with a diagnosed medical or other serious condition must make personal contact with the Academy prior to student’s first lesson. 8. GDANCE takes no responsibility for lost or stolen items.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT UNDERTAKING AND WAIVER 1. I acknowledge that teachers are responsible for the supervision of the student during class times only. 2. I agree to ensure that the student is dressed appropriately for the relevant class and has shoes and other items required to enable full and safe participation in the relevant dance styles. 3. I acknowledge that the student will participate in dance activities at his or her own risk and neither GDANCE nor its teachers will have responsibility or liability for any accident or injury that may occur. 4. I authorise the use of images and video of the student for promotional use. I also authorise the student’s contact information to be made available to volunteers of GDANCE when necessary. 5. I authorise GDANCE to obtain and/or administer first aid or medical treatment. I undertake unconditionally to reimburse GDANCE on request for all expenses relating to such treatment. 6. I acknowledge that I am responsible for all fees, charges and expenses associated with the student’s participation in classes and related activities at GDANCE.
