Parent-Teacher Partnership Model: Learning Together
Co-Facilitated By:
Kim Ford (Teacher) and Monique Thompson-Hale (Parent)

Strong parent-teacher partnerships, based on mutual respect and shared goals, have a positive effect on student learning.

The Parent-Teacher Partnership Model is intended to lead to changes in parent and teacher knowledge, attitudes, and dispositions necessary to establish effective parent-teacher relationships for the purposes of improving student success.

All parents/guardians of Maple Heights City School District students may participate.

Parents and teachers commit to attending four 90-minutes sessions throughout the year. The sessions will be co-facilitated by a trained parent and teacher facilitator team from Maple Heights. Sessions will be held at Milkovich Middle School, Board of Education Barack Obama School and John F. Kennedy. Childcare will be available. Light snacks will be served.
