ButterMochi Journal is a youth-led literary and arts journal based in Honolulu, Hawai'i, dedicated to amplifying Asian and Pacific Islander (API) by publishing writing and art. Therefore, we're looking for applicants in the 13-25 age range (you may still apply if you fall out of this range). Please make sure to look over the positions offered and the responsibilities and requirements. 

Note: This is a voluntary role. Hours are flexible, understanding that most of our applicants are youth.

Editorial Positions
Editors for ButterMochi Journal are expected to:
- Evaluate submissions for quality, originality, and alignment with our journal's vision
- Curate pieces for publication based on merit and theme
- Provide constructive feedback to submissions
- Make detailed line edits to accepted pieces 

Staff Writer Positions

Writers for ButterMochi Journal are expected to:
- Contribute at least 1 article to our blog every 1-2 months
- Report on the latest of our journal, including issue releases and contests
- Engage with other contributors
