Green Shores NYC is an all-volunteer not-for-profit organization. They work to ensure a greener, cleaner, more connected and accessible East River Waterfront in Queens, New York. Their aim is to enliven the eight miles of Astoria-Long Island City Waterfront from Newtown Creek to BoweryBay by caring and advocating for safe public parks, green spaces, street trees,
waterways and a waterfront greenway. The Astoria Park Alliance will be working in Astoria Park with volunteers.

Time: 10:30 - 1 P.M
Where: Astoria Park (Meet at field house and work on 19th street)
Wear work clothes and toe-clothed shoes! You'll be working with dirt and leaves and all the nature-y things.
