Our desire is that everyone who comes to the Wesley at WT can live their lives together in corporate worship and in small groups, like the early church in Acts 2:46-47:

"Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved." (NIV)

For these vital ministries to take place, servants willing to step into positions at Worship, Bible Study, and Outreach ministry are necessary.

Opportunities for Service:

Media Team: writers, photographers, graphic designers, videographers, social media managers, ProPresenter operators, camera switcher/production managers, and camera operators for Tupos

Worship Team: vocalists, and instrumentalists for the worship team

Prayer Team: leaders whose focus is on prayer for our campus. They are the ones who wear the green glow sticks and pray over people at Tupos, pray over the private prayer requests that come in

Guest Care Team: outgoing people whose focus is to show newcomers who we are and help them get connected at Tupos and events. This team's focus is hospitality toward any newcomer. If there's interest, this team seeks to find the right place for them to plug into The Wesley Community

Event Team: planning and executing quality events like: Halloween Party, 5th Quarters, Fall Outreaches, and other events

Bible Study: help plan and lead a Thursday Night Small Group Bible Study

Time Commitments:

All people serving on the LEAD team have 3 Sunday Night Meetings per semester at 7:00pm and food will be provided. Below, we have listed the time commitments for each team:

Media Team: Monthly meetings at 5:30pm on the same days as LEAD meetings. Help with setup starting at 3 on Tuesdays and to stay until setup is done. There are exceptions if you have a class. Other things depend week to week on what roles you’re put in.

Worship Team: Tuesday availability from 4:45-10:00, or 3:00 for setup if available, as well as attending monthly LEAD meetings. We occasionally have different events outside of our regular worship time but those are not requirements, more based on who is available. You also need to be able to practice on your own time before coming to Tuesday rehearsal.

Prayer Team: 45 minute meeting each Tuesday before worship starting at 6:15 in the prayer room, or in the Buffalo room of the ABH, and about a 10 minute meeting after each worship in the same place.

Guest Care Team: Arrive about 45 minutes before Worship and help about 10 minutes after Worship. So besides Worship probably about an hour to an hour and a half every week.

Event Team: One meeting a month to plan events, 3-5 events a semester. Help set up, during, and tear down each event.

Bible Study: Monthly meeting following the LEAD Team meeting, weekly meeting to plan the Bible Study, be available to go to Free Dinner at 6:15, Bible Study at 7, and then a fun activity that starts around 8:30 and ends usually around 10. You may also have to spend time on your own planning Bible Study outside of the Bible Study Meetings.
