The WRC volunteer program empowers students by providing volunteers the opportunity to develop as emerging feminist leaders in our community. We seek to support our volunteers in identifying, honing, and developing their individual leadership skills by providing opportunities to work in a collaborative and supportive environment. Here are some ways you can benefit from being a volunteer at the Women's Resource Center:

Serve your peers at PSU and empower yourself.
Develop yourself as a student leader on campus.
Learn more about feminist organizing and activism.
Meet and become involved with PSU's feminist community.
Enrich your resume.
Set personal and academic development goals and receive mentoring towards the attainment of those goals through service to the Women's Resource Center.
Stay informed about events and opportunities to become more involved.

If you are interested in volunteering with Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) to aid in event support throughout the month of April, please fill out this form and indicate your interest in the question.

This year, we are focusing our volunteer needs into two categories: outreach and promotion volunteering and event support volunteering. Outreach and promotion volunteers will aid in tabling efforts and other promotion on behalf of the WRC. They will be able to speak to others about the work done by the WRC in various capacities. The event support volunteers will aid in supporting various WRC events throughout the year. This can be anything from flyering around campus, direct event support (set-up/clean-up), and donation requests.

Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) is in April and our largest month for events and volunteer needs. If you are interested in volunteering with SAAM to aid in event support throughout the month of April, please fill out this form and indicate your interest in the question.

Training will be provided in all roles.
