ALERT! ALERT! ALERT! The San Jose City College tryout Pre-registration is now FULL.

*Please understand this tryout is at the CITY College of San Jose and not at the community college of San Jose. The Oakland Panthers might also allow up to the first 50 Walk-Up players to register at the gate on the morning of the tryout, on November 16th, 2019.

However, for other tryouts, we highly recommend that you register to tryout at the remaining city closest to your location at either: Fresno or Austin, TX for the 2020 season.

Tryout participants must have expired their collegiate football eligibility and be at least 18-years of age. Each player must supply their own outdoor football cleats (rubber or plastic cleats only, metal will not be permitted), shorts, shirts, and water or non-alcoholic beverage. No helmets or shoulder pads - tryouts are non-contact. If the Oakland Panthers coaching staff offers you a professional contract to join the organization, please be prepared to review and accept the offer.

Tryout registration is 8:00 am (local time). Cost $50 per person/per tryout – cash only and no checks accepted!

On the day of your tryout (s), please bring the exact fee amount (cash only) to the gate. Players may tryout for both O & D on the same day for just one fee. Arrive early to get hydrated and partially warmed-up in advance of the registration.

Info below (local time). Participants can tryout for O & D for one fee - per tryout. Read the instructions closely:

9:00am to 11:00am: OL / TE / RB / WR / QB (Register @ 8:00am) for Offense & Defense Two-Way Players

The workout will be formatted in a pro-style combine fashion with speed, agility and fieldwork testing. Participants will be led through a brief warm-up and stretch by the Panthers coaching staff. They will then be tested in sprints, short shuttle, and/or broad jump. Participants will be broken up into position categories and led through individual drills. After position drills, various groups of players will go through competitive sessions, including 1-on-1’s.
