Within the MedTOWN project that is financed by the ENI CBC Med Programme, JOHUD, the Jordanian Hashemite Fund for Human Development, with the collaboration of SARH International for Consulting and Training, will deliver free training for 100 candidates of people with disabilities, women and refugees from Alkoora and Almazar districts to establish their own social business start-ups. One hundred participants from the 3 above mentioned groups will receive training in key aspects related to starting, developing and sustaining a social business that cover the needs of the women, refugees or PWD (1st stage). In addition, twenty social business initiatives will receive further mentoring fundraising and networking with local markets (2nd stage).The training will be provided in JOHUD´s Social Business Incubator that is located in Irbid and hosted in the premises of the Ministry of Social Development in July 2021 for 5 Groups (20 Participant per Group with total 100 participants, that will receive 19 training days each Group with total 95 training days). The trainings will be 3hours daily. 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
The main role of the JOHUD through the MedTOWN project is to promote the social and economic integration of women, refugees and PWDs through the creation of new jobs under social solidarity economy organisations.
