This is the application form for the International and National Earth Guardians Youth Council, core groups of 18 inspiring young leaders from around the planet ages 13-25. It's purpose is to build and support a team of young leaders to confidently step up to lead projects, campaigns, and collective actions around a shared vision and strategy to target banks funding fossil fuel infrastructure projects. It is our goal to continue to weave a web of support and community, connecting young people with each other, and mentors worldwide. The International Earth Guardians Youth Council—scoping, planning and executing our Climate Action Plans throughout the seasons—are helping to shape the direction of the Earth Guardians movement.

To be a part of the 2018 cycle, please apply by June 20th, 2018. If you are selected for an interview, we'll be in touch with you about that in June.

We have several important expectations for anyone who is interested in being a part of the International Youth Council:
- Willing to be on the council for the entire 2018 cycle (July 2018 - June 2019)
- Attending bi-weekly hour and a half council calls
- Attending 1:1 bi-weekly mentorship calls
- Attending national or international trainings with the international youth council
- Being responsive to email and phone communications, ideally responding within a two day time period (if this will be a
  logistical issue for you, let us know)
- Send an email if you will miss any meetings
- Having no more than two absences without notice within a six month period
- Willing to meet in working groups on weeks when there aren't calls
- Willing to give trainings and implement actions in line with the youth council’s priorities and campaigns
