Migration is one of the most defining features of the 21st century. With one in three migrants being under the age of 30, there is a strong need for the youth to speak up and be heard. It is important to facilitate discussions on specific opportunities and challenges faced by youth, refine existing practices and replicate good practices that support young migrants in different parts of the world. Young migrants are also an important stakeholder group to support migration policy in areas beyond themselves, they have a unique perspective by growing up in this complex globalised world filled with both opportunities and challenges.

The GCM review process aims to assess the current compliance, and remaining gaps, in regards to the GCM objectives, reviewed on a national basis. As country lead your responsibility would involve:
1) Attend webinars detailing information and instructions on the required work and feedback (should be three sessions over the span of the consultation periods).
2) Holding consultations addressing the above to assess your given countries activities within the scope of the objectives. You would be expected to highlight participants who are youth, or organisations concentrating on youth-related issues, active within the scope of migration.
3) Process the consultations and produce a short report and summary of key findings and recommendations.
4) If any outstanding questions/concerns/issues, to liaise with the Regional Focal Point for your given region (who will be introduced to you on the first webinar).

Eligibility:
- Passion for migration issues
- Have you taken any actions, lead any advocacy groups, and/or have you any expertise in the topic of migration?
- Are you under 31 years old?
- Are you free to dedicate an average of 5 hours a week (on average - could be more/less based on the timeline) from September - December.
