Fellow Parishioners,

As I look back on 2021, I have seen firsthand how wonderful the St. Peter’s community is. Though the pandemic has been an extremely challenging time, our parishioners have come together to support one another and our parish. Over the past year, St. Peter’s has seen some considerable growth. Over 40 families have joined the parish since January. We have formed a staff leadership team to support the pastor. We brought on 3 new parish staff positions (Weekend Ministry, Faith Formation, and Director of Music). We kicked off our Fall with the first Annual Fall Fest replacing our previous Parish Picnic. A children's choir was formed, The Key’s, and has begun performing at Mass. Parish School of Religion - PSR was brought back to St. Peter’s (it was previously outsourced to Visitation). We also have a RCIA class forming now. We are working hard to Grow Wider, Grow Deeper, and to better the entire Weekend Experience with music, ministry, and message. I hope you have seen some of these changes. We appreciate your continued support during this period of revitalization of our parish.

Over the next few weeks, we will be speaking about our faith commitments to the parish, culminating with our Stewardship Commitment Weekend, November 21st and 22nd. There will be receptions following each Mass that weekend, including our usual Donut Sunday for the Sunday morning Masses. As you know, we recently changed from a fiscal year to a calendar year for our pledges; so they will now run from January 1st, 2022 to December 31, 2022. During this time, please pray and reflect about your financial commitment to the parish and join me in returning your Stewardship Card in the envelope provided on or around Stewardship Weekend.

Stewardship is very important to the life of St. Peter’s. When our members are willing to grow in their financial generosity, it creates great spiritual momentum and benefits our many respective parish ministries. This year instead of asking for a certain percentage, we are encouraging members to grow in generosity by giving 1 more percent of their annual income to the parish. If this is your first time giving, we encourage you to start somewhere. We want to grow givers. We know that through prayer and the movement of God’s spirit, people will grow in generosity and take the 1% Step!

In addition, we want to mention that as our 100 year anniversary nears, we are keeping in the forefront of our minds our legacy, and what we want the next 100 years to look like. With that in mind, we will be launching a Centennial Campaign in January 2022. This campaign will allow us to pay off our existing debt, but also complete some additional repairs that will put us in a good place for our future. Please stay tuned for more information.

Thank you for your investment in our parish. If you have any thoughts or questions, please email me anytime at

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
