I agree with and support the feelings of the Central Cocoanut neighborhood that the proposed placement of a Tommy's Carwash along 17th Street at the corner of the North Tamiami Trail (1716 N Tamiami Trail) should NOT be granted as a Conditional Use of this land.

It is incompatible both with the historic neighborhood of Central Cocoanut and the planned vision in the City Plan of the North Tamiami Trail as a gateway roadway for the City of Sarasota.

By adding my name to this petition I urge the various city boards - Development, Planning and the City Commission - to reject this development application.
