The Latina Leadership Network (LLN) is the first Latina nonprofit organization within the California Community College System. The organization was founded in June 1987 when Olga Arenivar, Betty Cotton, Cecilia Alvarado Custer and Irma Alvarez convened a conference to develop Latina leadership in the California Community Colleges and to increase the number of Latinas throughout the system.

Regular Member:
Classified staff, faculty, administrators, trustees, students; provide for voting privileges.

Corporate Sponsors:
Nonvoting memberships for individuals, organizations, and corporations that support the Latina Leadership Network’s purpose and goals.

Madrinas:
The Latina Leadership Network Madrina Award was developed to honor those Latinas who have given their time, energy, expertise and leadership to the LLN and to other Latinas within the California Community Colleges system and/or Latino community.

The LLN Esperanza  Newsletter keeps members informed on current issues, upcoming events, and regional activities. LLN Members can submit articles for consideration by the LLN Executive Board by submitting an email to Admin@llnccc.org
