West LA Chapter Applications
Our West LA chapter was where it all started in March of 2023 but now, our leadership team is graduating high school. We started YARI with the goal of inspiring students to take action in their communities by supporting local animal rescues, and we intend to keep it teen run. So, we are taking applications to fill three positions: Event Coordinator, Rescue Coordinator, and Media Coordinator.

Requirements:
-Attend school or live in close distance to Santa Monica and Brentwood
-Be able to attend adoption events/fundraisers at least once per month
-You must not be a current Senior

Chapter Roles:

Event Coordinator

The event coordinator is responsible for contacting locations, managing volunteers, running events, organizing supplies, local recruitment, and filling out a pre and post event tracker. They are also responsible for transferring money to rescues and nominating a Member of the Month.

Rescue Coordinator

The rescue coordinator is responsible for coordinating with the 7 West LA rescue partners, inviting adoptable pets to adoption events, working with fosters, and making adoptable animal information cards. They can also select an adoptable pet each week to be featured and promoted for adoption.

Media Coordinator

The media director is responsible for documenting events via photography and videography, posting stories of event location, setup, and adoptable animals, filming short videos, creating general event flyers, and helping with Instagram.

Chapter Responsibilities:
-Aim to host at least one event each month
-Work with rescues, YARI members, and event attendees
-Recruit members for YARI at events
-Represent YARI in a fun and positive way
