Dear alumni,

Crescent Girls' School Symphonic Band has once again been invited to perform at Esplanade's Limelight@Esplanade series of concert in 2014. We would like to invite you to join us to play in the combined band segment together with current band members.

The central theme for the concert repertoire revolves around "Movies" and Mr Lee will be conducting the alumni/ combined band for the second half of the concert. Pieces we will be playing are namely, 1st Suite in Eb, Selections from Up, Nuasica - Valley of the Wind, Les Miserables (arr by Johan de Mej)

Practices will be held on every saturday, starting from 4 Jan 2013, Sat, 1.30pm - 5pm at Crescent Girls' School (1.30pm to 2pm for warm-up and self-practice).

Practice dates are 4 Jan, 11 Jan, 18 Jan, 25 Jan, 8 Feb, 15 Feb, 22 Feb. As the selected pieces for the concert are of slightly higher level of difficulties, Mr Lee would like to request that alumni joining for the concert to commit to at least 80% of the practices.
