Dietary Restrictions & General Guidelines

  1. Strictly no chicken, fish, meat, or eggs are to be used in any food items.
  2. If asked by customers, vendors must clearly disclose whether food contains nuts, gluten, or dairy
  3. Vendors are required to display a menu with clear pricing
  4. Vendors must maintain cleanliness and ensure the area is cleaned after the event concludes.
  5. Optional: If possible, please include at least one no-onion, no-garlic item for devotees who are fasting or prefer such options as part of their meal choices .
     
Food Permit Requirement  (This is Required. Please read carefully !!!)

  1. If you already hold an annual permit from DuPage County, you may use it for the event.

  2. If not, you will need to apply for and obtain a temporary food permit directly from DuPage County and provide us with a copy of the permit. The application is available on their website. Fees and requirements for Temporary Food Permits vary based on menu items and the level of on-site food preparation.

  4. For any questions regarding food permits, please contact the DuPage County Health Department directly, as we may not have the relevant details.

Do you currently have a valid Food License/Permit from DuPage County? If not, you will need to obtain a Temporary Permit per the instructions above and provide us with a copy.

Please note that it may take up to two weeks to receive the permit, so we encourage you to apply for the Food License/Permit as soon as possible.   *

How many tents/booths will you require?
Donation/Fee: $450 per tent/booth

Notes:
1. We will set up the tent for you. Each tent measures 10 ft x 10 ft. 
2. You may request up to two tents, and we will make a reasonable good-faith effort to place them together.
3. Electricity will be available. Vendors will need to bring their own extension cords. The maximum electrical capacity available is approximately 50 amps per tent.
4. A tent number will be assigned once the application and payment are received.
5. Limited spots are available; tents/booths will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
6. Management/Organizers reserve the right to reject or decline any prospective applicant due to capacity constraints or non-alignment with our mission.

Please include a list of the menu items and pricing that you plan to offer at the event. Kindly list the item name first, followed by the price in parentheses.

Example: Samosa ($0.99); Chaat ($4.99); Dosa ($8.99) etc.
