What does it cost?
We want the “magic” and power of nonviolent communication to be accessible to anyone who wants it, AND to sustain ourselves financially.
So we are experimenting with a somewhat radical way of engaging with money: a version of “gift economy” (pay according to what you are able/willing).
We ask that you give as generously as you can without overstretching into resentment, an amount that you feel satisfied meets the “sweet spot” of giving value for what you anticipate receiving from this workshop and is within your capacity.
If you would like some guidance about how much to contribute:
anywhere from NZ$150 – $400 would likely cover our costs and support our practical needs.
If even the lower end of the scale is too much of a stretch for you, don’t let that be a barrier to working with us; talk with us about it and we’ll come to an arrangement that works for you and us.
And if you are financially very comfortable and wish to offer more than the top of the scale, that is also much appreciated, and will help our vision of spreading this work as far as possible, including with people who don’t have the financial means.
