Crossing the Charles with Women at MIT
Interested in joining a Crossing the Charles team?

Upon seeing the announcement regarding the Crossing the Charles Competition we immediately thought - we need a team dedicated to demonstrating the progression and strength of the female MIT community over the last 100 years!

The Moving Day website states that entries should "[express] MIT’s celebration of a century in Cambridge" and "[reflect on] the advancement and practical application of science" - we think a crossing-team that evokes the work and spirit of women at MIT, as teachers, students, researchers and leaders, would be a wonderful symbol about how far we've come in the lab, classroom and workplace - and how far we need to go.

Join us for a lunchtime (food provided!) discussion about ideas and involvement going forward with this idea!

Date: Monday, February 8
