Sand Creek Village Interest Form
Thank you for showing interest in our village concept to help solve chronic homelessness in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The plan for our community has been inspired by our friends success at Community First Village in Austin, TX.
Our community will be permanent supportive housing.
Rent for an individual coming out of chronic homelessness will be in the range of $350 per month , and we will work to find each individual dignified income to support that rent payment.
The community will have onsite wraparound services in coordination with the amazing service providers already working in our city, including health clinic, mental health services, addiction recovery and support, in-home healthcare, counseling, mailboxes, case management, sources of dignified income (many onsite), a bus stop (to be negotiated), we are in discussions to have a bank branch from a local bank (including financial literacy classes), cafe, co-working space, art studio, small farm, walking paths that connect to the cities trail system, and so much more.
Join us in creating the healthiest, safest and most loving neighborhood in the city!
Initial land purchase, site work, excavation, engineering, and first phase of construction are privately funded.
We are seeking philanthropic partners to help fund some additional construction and ongoing non-profit services needed to keep the community healthy on a permanent basis.
