2026 USAWE High Point Breed Award Sponsorship Form

Thank you for your interest in supporting USA Working Equitation (USAWE), our riders, and horses through a Breed Performance Award Sponsorship! 

The Year End Breed Awards may be sponsored by any organization, business, or a private citizen. Breed specific awards allow sponsors to spotlight the success of their chosen breed in Working Equitation. Our sport demands an athletic all-around horse able to perform with precision, finesse and speed. 

Since USAWE licensed competitions encourage both English and Western riders and horses of all breeds, including gaited horses, to compete side by side, the year-end award winners are the best among riders of very diverse traditions and backgrounds.

For just $40, your Breed Award Sponsorship with USAWE includes:

  • Description of the award and a link to the sponsor’s website on the “Award Programs” page of www.USAWE.org
  • Social Media posts announcing new sponsorships with appropriate tags.
  • Point tracking and year end results calculation by breed/registry.
  • Emailing the owner of the winning equine and a thank you sent the award sponsor.
  • Acknowledgement of each breed award sponsor in the Year End Breed Award Winners video produced by the USAWE Marketing Committee and published on social media.
  • One custom USAWE award ribbon denoting the year, breed, and the horse’s name.
  • Shipping of the award to the owner of the winning horse owner if provided when the horse was recorded; if not it will be shipped to rider recorded in the official results. 
Competition Year: January 1st through December 31st
Award winners announced by the end of February following the competition year. Ribbons shipped by late-March.

Verification of Registration/Membership:

In cases where the horse's owner is required to be a member in good standing of a particular organization and/or the horse must be registered, the sponsor must designate a contact person who will be responsible for verifying membership/registration status of the winning owner/horse.

Point Calculation:

Unlike the horse/rider National and Regional Leaderboards (which use only the top four points earned each year), the Horse Ranking lists include cumulative points earned at all USAWE-licensed competitions in a given season.  The points will be accumulated by the horse across all levels of competition and with all riders that competed this horse during the 2024 show season. Should no horses of the sponsored breed satisfy the requirements during the current show season, the sponsor will be credited the fee of $40 towards the next show season.

Sponsors may impose additional criteria to qualify for the award they sponsor.

Once you submit this form and the USAWE Award Committee confirms that sponsorship for a breed is available for the 2026 season; you will be issued an invoice for $40 which you can pay by Debit or Credit card.
