Share Your Story: How Does Distance Learning Impact Your Special Needs Students?
Please sign up here to share your story. And please let us know if you are willing to have your story shared at a MCCPTA Town Hall Meeting on Special Education on February 1, 2021. We are inviting MCPS, the Board of Education and the Montgomery County Council.
At issue: how the lack of interventions, supports, and evaluations (such as OT, PT, speech, and special education services) are impacting YOUR students and families.
Below, please briefly describe the struggles your family is facing and how lack of these essential, in-person services has impacted your child's development.
Once we have a list of people who are willing to share their stories, we will give instructions on how you can videotape your message to be included during the Town Hall on February 1st. (Testimonials will be recorded in advance so we can include as many voices as possible in a limited timeframe.)
