: The City of Indianapolis b.link technology grant program - administered by the Indy Public Safety Foundation and Downtown Indy, Inc. - is designed to support the City's community violence reduction efforts by providing financial assistance to enable the purchase, installation, and setup of more IMPD remotely-accessible b.link cameras in and around local businesses and commercial properties throughout Marion County. Cameras connected via b.link are owned and operated by the business or individual, but provide live-stream video access to IMPD.
Eligibility: To be considered for a grant, an applicant must be a local business or commercial property owner. Applicants may apply for up to $2,500, all of which must be used for the purchase, installation, and/or set up of b.link capable cameras (
list linked here). Applicants may apply for multiple rounds, but shall only receive a maximum of two $2,500 awards annually. Applicants must be located within Marion County, Indiana and within an IMPD service district.
