November Talking Circle - RSVP

CAJM’s Virtual Talking Circles return this November with a refreshed format and a unifying theme, Voices for a Shared Future. We’ll gather on Thursdays, offering two sessions each month—a big-idea conversation followed by an applied workshop that turns dialogue into practice.

We open with Environment & Climate on Thursday, Nov 6, 12–1 PM ET / 9–10 AM PT. Join speakers Rabbi Nina Beth Cardin, founder of the Baltimore Jewish Environmental Network and author of To Forever Inhabit This Earth (2025), and Joelle Novey, Director of Interfaith Power & Light (DC.MD.NoVA). They will discuss how Jewish communities and institutions are opening conversations about how burning fossil fuels is damaging our climate, and about how we and our Jewish institutions are called to respond. Please join us for this important conversation.

Followed by the applied workshop on Thursday, Nov 20, 12–1 PM ET / 9–10 AM PT.

Please note the day change from Fridays to Thursdays. We will record the presentation portions of the conceptual panels. When the conversation opens for Q&A, we’ll stop recording to preserve candid exchange. Recordings may be posted in our session archive or shared upon request with members who cannot attend live.

Use this form to RSVP for each session; you’ll receive the Zoom link upon registering.
