Richmond Canoe Club members will be volunteering to pick up plastic and rubbish to clean up the stretch of Thames where they train  everyday. 
Event will start at Richmond Canoe Club
Sunday, June the 9th - Briefing at 10:00 with coffee and tea. 
Start 10:30. 
Meet back at the club at 1 o'clock to gather and classify the litter.
By participating in the Great River Clean-Up Day, you acknowledge that it is a voluntary activity organized by the club. You understand and agree to the following:
- Your involvement in the clean-up is optional, and you participate at your own risk. Do not get anyway too close to the waterside! 
- You acknowledge the potential risks associated with picking up rubbish along the river bank, including slippery surfaces, exposure to hazardous materials, encounters with wildlife, and accidents. You assume full responsibility for any risks involved. 
- You are responsible for your own safety during the activity, including following safety guidelines and using appropriate equipment. 
- You release the club, its organizers, volunteers, and affiliated entities from any claims, liabilities, damages, or losses resulting from your participation, including injuries or property damage. 
- You acknowledge that you are acting independently, and the club is not liable for the consequences of your actions. 
- In case of injury or medical emergency, you are responsible for seeking and covering any necessary medical assistance. 
- Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult or have written parental/guardian permission. 
- Any of your data will be destroyed after the event has concluded.
