Nigeria has been ranked 2nd on the African cancer burden list with prostate, breast and cervical cancers as the most frequently occurring cancers in the country. The prevalence of cancer in Nigeria demands interventions not only limited to prevention and strengthening infrastructure but also support for patients and caregivers.
Cancer treatment alters patients' everyday activities, work, relationships and family duties; it is related to significant patient psychological stress. Project PINK BLUE provides free cancer psychological support services for cancer patients and caregivers in Nigeria.
Through this form, you will be linked to a professional psychologist to support you with difficult situations relating to living with or dealing with cancer in Nigeria. The support services will be provided online, on the phone, or in person (for clients living in Abuja). The services provided will be offered with strict confidentiality.
Your information and details of the session will not be shared with any other personnel, except on your request. Kindly fill out the form if you are:
A cancer patient
A cancer survivor
A cancer caregiver
After completing the form, you will be contacted for further screening or referral to the psychologist for psychological support services.
