Conducted within the Global Alliance for Buildings and Construction, the working group Adaptation of buildings to climate change aims at identifying current strategies and proposing recommendations to the different stakeholders involved, from governments to investors and property developers. The report will be available by the end of 2020.

The current survey aims at drawing up a review of the situation regarding strategies on the adaptation of buildings to climate change. How many investors in real estate implemented an adaptation strategy? Which climate hazards do property developers address most? Do local authorities integrate the expected evolution of climate in planning regulations?
This inventory will help us identify challenges and ways to help the following actors: Governments, Local authorities, Investors & asset managers, Insurers & reinsurers, Property developers, Design & engineering companies, Material, equipment and construction companies, and Property and facility managers.

The survey is open to contribution until January 30, 2020 and takes 15 minutes to complete.
