Spring 2018 Basic Maintenance & Repair Class Sign-up
Knowing how your bike works and how to fix basic problems is a great way to save money and ride safer (and more often!). Basic Bike Maintenance and Repair covers most of the typical issues bike commuters run into. It is intended for those with little or no bicycle repair experience.

Class one: ABC Check + Fixing a flat
Class two: Adjusting brakes (non-disc)
Class three: Drive train maintenance
Class four: Adjusting shifting
Class five: Adjusting bearings

We are hosting one class session this spring, on Wednesday from 6:30 - 8:30pm.

Class dates:

Wednesday, April 18 through May 16

The class runs for 2 hours, once a week for 5 sessions. You’ll work on your own bike. Please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting grease on. Preference will be given to those who can attend all 5 meetings. Intended for adults 18 years and older.

Cost: $100 for the 5-week course. Some scholarships available (see last page of sign-up). Classes will be held at the Boston Cyclists Union's Bike Workshop space, at 375 Dudley Street, Roxbury, MA 02119.
