Lecture by Prof. Robert Orttung

The Kyiv Office of the Kennan Institute and the Fulbright Program in Ukraine are pleased to invite you to an open lecture "War of Words: The Impact of Russian State Television on the Russian Internet" by Professor Robert Orttung, PhD, to be held on Thursday, April 23, 2015, 6:00 p.m., at the Fulbright Office (20 Esplanadna Street, Suite 904, M "Palats Sportu", Kyiv).

Robert Orttung is an Associate Research Professor of International Affairs; Assistant Director of the  Institute for European, Russian, and Eurasian Studies at George Washington University's Elliott School of International Affairs.
 
Professor Orttung came to George Washington University in 2011, after working at the Open Media Research Institute, EastWest Institute, American University's Transnational Crime and Corruption Center, and the Jefferson Institute. In correlation with his work at George Washington University, Orttung is also a visiting fellow at the Center for Security Studies of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich. He earned a PhD in Political Science from UCLA and a BA from Stanford University.

The lecture will be presented in English.
