Year 3 Incursion - Earth's Rotation
Dear Parent/Guardian,

As part of the Stage 2, Science and Technology program, we have arranged for the students of Year 3 to participate in an incursion at St Hurmizd Assyrian Primary School. From Moon phases, tides, seasons, sunrise and sun set. In a day of fun activities students will understand the earth's rotation and how this causes regular changes on earth.

The incursion is designed to meet the NSW Syllabus outcomes and will be conducted by Ranger Jamie. Ranger Jamie is passionate about creating a new kind of educational experience for students. A former National Parks Ranger, he holds a degree in Environmental Science and Marine Biology.

WHEN: Tuesday 31st July 2018
WHERE: St Hurmizd Assyrian Primary School
TIME: 9:30am - 2:30pm
UNIFORM: Students are required to wear their winter sports uniform, including their hat.

COST: Included in the school fees.
