Transportation is a critical element of getting students to and from events safely and efficiently. More options means more participation, and since we believe that it matters how you get there, Lyft is making available transportation grants to support U-M student groups.

Student organizations that receive grants will be given the following:

• A custom Lyft discount code to reduce transportation costs (e.g. 25% off a ride)
• A $5 donation for every user that takes their first ride with the event code (up to $150)
• Custom artwork (and collateral if requested) to promote Lyft as option for the event
• 30 minute consultation session with Lyft logistics team to optimize pick-up and drop-off for event
• Depending on the size of the event, promotion to Lyft Ann Arbor driver and passenger community

We recommend applying for a grant at least two (2) weeks in advance of the event. Student groups can have grants provided for multiple events.
