Volunteer registration: Hedgerow maintenance at the Center for Land Based Learning's Maples Farm (Saturday, February 18th from 10am-1pm)
Join us on Saturday, February 18th as we tend to an existing native plant hedgerow and enjoy a nature walk!  Hedgerow maintenance tasks include spreading wood chip mulch, weeding, replanting oaks and deer grass, and removing tubex from established plants. We will conclude the event with a nature walk given by CLBL Ecologist Jeanne Wirka. Please wear sturdy shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, and bring a reusable water bottle. Water, snacks, and all necessary equipment will be provided. No prior experience is needed and all are welcome!  Meeting location:  Maples Farm 40140 Best Ranch Road Woodland, CA 95776.  This event is part of the Yolo Creeks and Community Partnership, a collaborative effort between Putah Creek Council, the Center for Land Based Learning, the Yolo County Resource Conservation District, and Point Blue Conservation Science funded by the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation.
