The Nest is not wheelchair accessible, although once inside it is all one level, with only one step to get up into the apartment. The terrain and/or exterior entrance paths may be challenging for those who struggle with stability, especially in the winter months. "The Americans with Disabilities Act does not apply to religious organizations and entities controlled by religious organizations. Thus, under the act, churches do not have to be handicapped accessible." (www.cga.ct.gov › rpt) However, we desire to accommodate individuals the best we can.
