Calling all film enthusiasts! Sign up for a BSIFF workshop!

Acting for screen/Business of acting (Aug 13th)/ Directing for Screen (Aug 14th)/Screenwriting (Aug 15th)

As part of the BSIFF 2018 programme we offer film enthusiasts the unique opportunity to work with and learn from industry professionals. Come armed with energy and questions!

Acting for Screen/Business of Acting will be conducted by Kwaku Ankomah, RADA trained actor. Kwaku was an acting teacher at the Identity Drama School in London, the first black drama school in London. At Identity, he taught acting to Rising Hollywood stars such as John Boyega (Lead Actor in Star Wars, Attack the Block) and more. He also taught and has acted with Malachai Kirby, (Lead Actor, who played Kunta Kinte in the most recent adaptation of Roots). ***ALL SPACES NOW FULL***

Directing for Screen will be conducted by Pascal Aka, an Ivorian film director, actor, music video director and producer, very well known for his work on "Jamie and Eddie: Souls of Strife (2007)". He runs a well-established production company in Ghana, "Breakthrough Media Productions". *** 2 SPACES LEFT***

Prince Von Xola-Bismarck, artistic director of Fine Films Factory, Stephen Ofosu, editor for Gird Centre and writer for Kofas Media and Awo Ahiable, seasoned writer, will be running a script lab alongside other interactive activities as part of their Screenwriting workshop. ***16 SPACES LEFT***
