About FMI

The Fremont Multi-District Initiative is a non-profit organization that supports expanding access for students through regional partnerships. Currently, we support students through shared coursework with other districts and providing access to work-based learning opportunities. Students are able to attend courses at other district schools to access opportunities that are not readily available at their home district. Our goal is to help students earn college credit, industry credentials, and participate in work-based learning before high school graduation, together known as the “Big 3” initiatives. These priorities are designed to better prepare students for postsecondary pathways.
