Sharing Cities Network is an effort to connect people who are building cities based on principles of meeting everyone's needs, collaboration, and sharing resources. The network is providing people with information, toolkits, and is helping spread knowledge about what people in different places are working on. They have a "sharing spring" initiative and part of it is to organize a "ShareFest" in your city - an event that spotlights all the collaborative initiatives/spaces/etc in a city.

There are going to be a series of events in the East Bay in May that are all going to be a part of the East Bay ShareFest!

Add your event by Sunday, April 6th to be included on printed outreach materials promoting East Bay ShareFest 2015. An effort will be made to ensure that all qualifying submissions are represented in the online listing regardless of submission date.

PLEASE BE SURE THAT YOUR EVENT TAKES PLACE IN THE EAST BAY AREA, CALIFORNIA DURING MAY 2015.

We ask that all participating projects and organizations be generosity driven (as opposed to explicitly profit driven) and make a commitment to collaboratively raise awareness about and actively support and promote the East Bay ShareFest calendar of events.
