2013-2014 SGA Public Relations Board

Thank you for your interest in Public Relations Board! Descriptions for each position on the board are listed below. This application is due no later than 5:00pm Tuesday , December 10th. If you have any questions feel free to email Ellen Larson (emlarson@butler.edu).

Position Descriptions:

Design Team:
Must be skilled in Adobe Suite.
Design posters and promotional material for all SGA Boards (CPA, PB, REACH, Operations, Finance) in their efforts to create effective marketing/promotions.

New Media Team:
Provide photos and edited videos for SGA website and video blog updates.
Create videos for SGA events and announcements.
Provide photos for SGA Assembly slide show.
Create presentation for end of year SGA banquet.

Webmaster:
Butler.edu/SGA website management.
Help with creation of web-based projects.
Website training available.

Blue Crew:
Must have daytime availability.
Responsible for weekly free giveaways for students.
Generate and execute ideas for giveaways.

Event Planning and Promotions:
Work with social media, designers and new media to coordinate promotion of events.
In charge of logistics of the event.
Order catering and decorations.
Creative execution of PR Board events

All subcommittees along with the Vice President of Public Relations will also be responsible for:
Attending weekly meetings.
Helping out with marketing strategies (hanging posters, chalking, etc.)
Attending SGA sponsored events and initiatives
Working with SGA Boards to advertise their events
Working with PR Board's Blue Crew for free giveaways to students
Supporting the other SGA Boards in their efforts (events, promotions, etc.)
