Beta Test is an experiment in community, designed to bring together artists working in the online and remote theatre space who are exploring the intersection of live performance and technology to share short-form works-in-progress. Here's how it works:

• The whole evening lasts around 75 minutes, and performer call is 30 minutes prior to chat through any tech needs.
• The performance must have a live component, and ideally an interactive component, however you choose to define those two words. Otherwise it can be literally anything in literally any medium / genre
• 10 minute max run-time, with an optional feedback/Q&A session after
• Can be a self-contained thing, or an excerpt of a larger thing as long as it feels like it makes sense without much context. No need to create anything new or special for this unless you're inspired to do so.
• CirqueSaw will pay $50 per piece. (unfortunately we can only pay $50/piece right now, so if you are a multi-person team the stipend is split. Though we do share all performer venmo handles in the program) Audience tickets are by donation, and for our live events tend to work out to around $20/ticket
