“Insights into the Making of Federal and State Climate and Energy Policy”

Participate in a conversation about state and federal climate and energy policymaking with leading state officials and academic experts from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. (immediately preceding the Launch Party). This event is sponsored by the Georgetown Climate Center and the Georgetown Environmental Initiative and is part of a speaker series focused on climate change. Vicki Arroyo, Executive Director of the Georgetown Climate Center and Director of the Georgetown Environmental Law Program, will moderate the discussion featuring the following panelists:

• Deborah Markowitz (L'87), Secretary of the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources
• Lisa Heinzerling, the William Brennan Professor of Law at Georgetown University and former Associate Administrator of EPA's Office of Policy
• William W. Buzbee, Director of the Emory Environmental and Natural Resources Law Program and new member of Georgetown Law faculty (Fall 2014)
