Unlocking Domestic Resources to Advance Holistic Development – Philanthropy – Public- Private Roundtable

Amidst a rapidly evolving socio-economic landscape, an integrated developmental strategy becomes paramount. The ability to mobilize collective expertise and resources across public, private, and philanthropic sectors is crucial for addressing complex challenges and achieving sustainable development. Recognizing this, the East Africa Philanthropy Network, in partnership with the Philanthropy Forum of Uganda, cordially invites you to the "Unlocking Domestic Resources to Advance Holistic Development – Philanthropy – Public-Private Roundtable." Scheduled for August 30, 2024, from 8 AM to 11 AM at the Global Fund Offices on Lumumba Avenue, this event aims to enhance cooperative effectiveness among diverse sector leaders, critically evaluate and enhance regional DRM mechanisms for improved efficiency and inclusiveness, and leverage financial tools and sectoral strengths to develop robust local capital markets and accessible sustainable financing. The roundtable will also establish ongoing support mechanisms for financial and regulatory institutions to enhance resource management, transparency, and accountability, ensuring sustained collaboration and effective DRM strategy implementation.
