SORCA 2026 Events & Dig Day Volunteers 
Our weekly events are a big undertaking and we’re so lucky to have many awesome volunteers help bring these events to life, we couldn’t do it without you! If you are interested, and available for any of the events listed below please sign up, we'd love to have your support!

Some important details:

  • All are welcome and no volunteering experience is required!
  • Must be a SORCA member to volunteer at a SORCA event
  • All volunteers receive entry to Apres at Socials and Races
How you can get involved:

Events: 
We regularly need Trail Marshals, Timers, Sweeps, and Registration support. 
Trail work: Join a dig day to help build and maintain trails or to learn trail-building skills.

All volunteers receive a ticket to the event Apres, for the event  you have volunteered with, as well as an invite to our 2026 end-of-year Volunteer Party, with prizes and a chance to celebrate the season with fellow volunteers.

If you have any questions or preferences for the types of opportunities you’d like, email Dani@sorca.ca and we’ll help match you to a role.

Volunteers will be contacted 1-4 weeks prior to the event
