The Exceptional Achievement Award 2019-20
The Parent Advisory Council for Region 14-Hopewell Center believes the purpose of this award is to recognize individuals who have been instrumental in providing opportunities that enable students with disabilities to achieve personal, social or academic goals of the highest standards.

The nominees chosen as award winners will be recognized at The Exceptional Achievement Awards Recognition Ceremony on April 23, 2020. The Recognition Ceremony which is sponsored by the Parent Advisory Council and the Region 14 Governing Board will be held at the Hillsboro Elementary School.

Follow the selection guidelines below and nominate that dedicated person.

Selection Guidelines

Who is eligible for nomination:

Any community member or school employee in Adams, Brown, Clinton, Fayette or Highland County (other than central office administrators) who meets at least one of the following criteria:~ helps student(s) reach high standards ~ helps student(s) reach goals (personal, social or academic) ~ helps student(s) adjust to the environment ~ helps promote student(s) independence ~ is creative in meeting the individual needs of a student ~ focuses on individual abilities of the student(s).

Who can nominate:

Anyone who has knowledge of the nominee’s contribution may submit a nomination.

Selection process:

All nominations will be evaluated on the merits of the information submitted.

Each county selection committee will select no more than 5 nominees who most exemplify our theme of excellence in education. All nominees will receive a letter of commendation.

Selection Committee:

The county-level selection committee will be comprised of parents, community representatives and superintendents/district administrators who will review all nominations.

Deadline: All nominations must be submitted by March 2, 2020 to Sherry Campton at Region 14/Hopewell Center, 5350 W. New Market Road, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
