(1) As an initial troubleshooting step for ALL issues, please restart your phone. This often resolves many issues such as data not working, no network connection etc.
(2) When you put the SIM Card in your phone: you'll get a number of SMS text messages sent by the network. One of those messages will be that your purchased data pack has gone through, and your new balance is £0. THIS IS NORMAL to have a £0 balance, because you now have a 1 month data pack + calls and texts.
(3) Message saying balance too low when you make a call? Your SIM Card includes calls/texts to UK numbers starting with 01, 02, 03, 07 and 0800, and calls to Europe numbers (when you're in Europe). The following are NOT included:
(a) Calls/texts to Australian numbers or USA numbers are not included. Buy a voucher on our website OR use WhatsApp, FaceTime or Messenger to call family & friends back home.
(b) Calls to UK premium rate numbers (0842, 0843, 0844, 0845, 0870, 0871, 0872 or 0873) are not included. Some businesses use these premium rate numbers on their website, but you can usually find a regular landline number on their website or search at https://www.saynoto0870.com
(4) Going to Europe? Turn data roaming to ON in your phone settings. Calling Europe numbers? You'll need to dial using international format which is the + symbol + the country code + the local number (removing the first 0 if there is one).
(5) Data not working in Europe? Make sure that data roaming is ON in your phone settings. If it's ON then restart your phone. If data still isn't working you might need to manually connect to another mobile network in the country. Change your mobile data to manually select a mobile network and try connecting to each one-by-one and testing data. If unsure how to do this just Google search something like "how to manually change mobile network on XXX model phone".

(6) What's my SIM Card phone number? When your SIM Card first connects to the network in the UK or Europe, you'll receive a text message within a few minutes that includes your phone number. It will be in the format 07XXXXXXXXX, for example 07123456789. If you want someone back home (or from Europe) to call or text you, they'll need to call or text you in international format. That means removing the first 0 and replacing it with +44 (44 is the UK's dialing code). So if your number was 07123 456 789, they'd call or text +447123456789. Anyone in the UK who wants to call or text you just uses your number without any changes, i.e., they would call or text 07123 456 789.

(8) Accessing adult content: due to strict laws implemented by the UK Government, all UK phone networks are required to have an adult filter which can block some common websites (e.g., adult dating sites such as Tinder and Grindr). We can't remove the filter as it is imposed by law. But it's easy to prove you're an adult and get the filter removed.
